What is My Nutri-DNA?
As part of the fight against non-communicable diseases, especially those related to obesity and its complications within the African community, Be-Unick Inc. makes Nutrigenomics tests available to the population through My Nutri-DNA program. This program will allow the population to receive personalized nutritional recommendations based on the genetic profile of the patient/client, the actual risks/benefits of the patient/client.
What is Nutrigenomics?
"The environment and dietary" are well identified as the 2 main factors that influence our health. The foods we eat directly or indirectly modulate the expression of our genes: this is Nutrigenomics. This part of nutritional genetics that studies the influence of the foods we eat on the expression of our genes. How?
The nutrigenomics test requires either a saliva sample with a tube or mouth swab (a form of "cotton swab" swept into your mouth). It does not require any blood sampling. The sample lasts less than 3 minutes and is completely painless. The rest takes place in the nutrigenomics laboratory and the results are available to you a few days later.
